- A car lost control and crashed into a building after striking another car at a stop sign in Echo Park. The driver was killed and the passenger injured but in stable condition.
- Clippers' announcers Ralph Lawler and Michael Smith were suspended for a game for comments made about an Iranian player which included a mispronunciation of Iranian and comparisons to Borat. Chances are though that they didn't miss much.
- A Facebook announcement of "Kick a Ginger Day" may have been the motivator behind an apparent series of attacks on students because of their red hair. Parents... You seriously need to step in.
- Even after dropping a lot of coin on upgrades and repairs, California computers still stink. Ugh...
- More quake shaking... This time a 3.7'er at Big Bear Lake. No damage or injuries were reported.
- Numerous shootings around the city today... Wherever you are, just be careful.
- Finally... 'Tis the Season. To go ice skating! Outdoor rinks make for some Holiday fun!
